Nice one Rod! Percy is one well trained fish. CJ
Rod 31-Dec-2006 00:07
Thanks Ann & Jock:-) I think the cold weather is more Christmasy Jock but I don't think me & Percy would cope well:-)

Excellent job Rod and Percy, you certainly wouldn't have manged to get this in time for the challenge if you were still in old Blighty, Percy would have down way down deep what with the cold weather we've been having up here in the North. ;-)

The reason for this crop is I had Percy's tail pinned to the lily leaf, I hope he can grow a new one:-)

Pah, trained fish...Percy wasn't fed for days to enable this shot...can't you see, he's already climbing trees to reach it :o)
Rod 23-Dec-2006 21:48

Thanks Aammm mate:-)

Agree with Paul, this very artistic mate. And I love the black part, w/o it it will look a bit ordinary imo.
Rod 22-Dec-2006 10:57
Of course I know wot you mean Paul wivout the black the shot would be just great but wiv it, it's awesome a.
Percy told me you peed in his pond when you were up here, he got a hangover the next day.
Paul 22-Dec-2006 09:10
This is very good and surprisingly artistic for a buffoon like yourself. The curve and placement of the fish is excellent with an almost surreal touch to it(the fish should be praised, not yourself). I sort of agree with Abs about the black but it is a very good black and gives the fish a sense of isolation to it, know what i mean?
Rod 22-Dec-2006 06:28
Thanks Britt (nice to see you out again) Mary Anne sometimes I wonder if they luv me because I'm nice or just for the food:-) & last but not least Abs thanks all:-)

Great capture, Rod. All that time you've spent training your fish is finally paying off, no?

like the simplicity and moon like shape of the leaf. feels like a red comet circling a green planet. i feel a bit too much black at the bottom though. a very nice entry, Rod.

Rod 21-Dec-2006 22:38
Don't mention the word sushi in front of Percy otherwise he will never come out from under lily pad.
Thanks Sue Anne:-)
