I think this is a very nice image Mary Anne. Maybe Mark is onto something with a macro of the barbs though. If it had a nice bokeh background and fine detail of the barbs it would be quite an image.

On the face of it "Three" seems an easy topic but I agree with you Mary Anne most of wot I look at through me viewfinder does look boring.
Rod, I'm having a hard time coming up with something that's not absolutely BORING for a shot, and this was the best I've come up with thus far. The crop was to eliminate distracting things from either side...I would have preferred something more horizontal, which is what I think the subject calls for. Well, there are a few more days to work on it.
