In photography how hard it is has no real bearing on the outcome, we just look at the outcome & say if it works or not:-)
It's a shame to say it but drinking doesn't help Mark, it just makes me happy being miserable:-)

Really nice comp here Keith. The people don't bug me, as I know how hard it is to keep them out of such crowded attractions. I like the sky the way the sun appears almost coming in the corner without causing a problem. Nice work.

Good thing there's no artist signature on this at the bottom of the image or Rod woudd be ready for a six pack! :-) I like the light on the flags and the archway is very dramatic. Markjay

I agree with Rod on this one. The people and the bar are a distraction.

I don't think scale is important Carole when we're trying to do good picys in an artiiiiiiiiiiistic sense. If the intent of the shot is to show scale then using a wide angle lens would be a no no. So for artiiiiiistic reasons the people are just a distraction & they & turn this into a good snapshot instead of a good picy:-)........................I think

Nice picture with the Arch and flags Keith, and a nice blue sky setting it off. I'm not sure about cropping out the people as they do give a sense of scale to the Arch. CJ

I like the flag and arch for the framing. Maybe you can crop the bottom(the people out) if you want. :) Nice one Keith.
