Thank you Jano - you have a good eye and saw what I thought too at first. :)

Nicely done Sue Anne - I previously shot a similar photo which I think now I'll post in exhibition now that you reminded me of the shot. I do think this could use a little crop on the left and right - or better yet a late afternoon indirect light to bring forth more detail w/o cropping. I feel the right a bit soft and the left with BH. If you didn't try a macro with this, you should i think to bring out more texture. (Again the Pro1 works wonders lol). Obviously the pattern is evident so you have a good eye on this. jano

Thank you Brent, Sharon and Henry. :)
I just used the morning light from the kitchen window.

Lovely, Sue Anne! And perfect for this challenge. I like the gradation of light and color in this. Very nice! ~Sharon

Very nice photo. I love the warm wood tones, very much on subject and thank you for the lesson on baskets! :)

Thank you b.c - Longaberger is just a 'famous' basket name if you're into collection baskets like John Deere is to tractors. :)

Thank you Rod and Paul..... so you wanted non level? I was striving as hard as I could to get it straight as I could :0
Rod 15-Sep-2006 08:33
Yes the graduation of light is really nice, well done Sue Anne:-)
Paul 15-Sep-2006 08:25
I like the lighting too on this and also the way it fades in and out of focus on either side. Part of me wishes it wasn't level though.

whatza longaberger? (pardon my ignorance!) but anyhow nice texture and repeating pattern. the side light brings it out and gives it depth - b.c.

Thank you CJ and Yvonne :)

This is a tall Longaberger basket that holds my kitchen 'tall' utensils.

I have been trying to take 'better' pictures - guess its showing somewhat.... ;)

sueanne, you have been capturing some really nice images these last few months. I like this one too. Is it full of apples? Yvonne

Lovely basket Sue Anne - I've always wanted one of these! I like your lighting which brings out the nice warm color and texture of the wood. CJ
