Sent me searching in my 1981 slides for a similar shot. Couldn't find it :-( Yes it is scary even though you know that that glass is safe! \Oved

thanks Sharon, Cat and Brent.
BTW, if you're interested in the view from the ground looking up, see the 2nd photo down on the wikipedia page

I should have thought of taking a shot like that, too... - b.c.

With a first look I thought you were just dangling your feet in this shot- then I saw the swirling in the glass near the light. Intersting shot, and does give the viewer (this one anyway) vertigo. Nice work B.C.

This is a great view!!! And the height is very well captured due to the narrowing base of the tower... great DOF too! -Cat

Great choice to include your feet in this shot. It looks a little like you are playing god with a tiny world laid out at your feet! Well done! ~Sharon

well, it kinda gave _me_ the willies standing there taking the shot! they _said_ the glass was really really strong, but I couldn't stay there too long. thanks, Ann & CJ :)

Perfectly on topic b.c. and a great shot too. I really like seeing all the graphic patterns down below and the trucks and/or buses which look like toys from this elevation. I'm getting vertigo now so I think I'll move on! ;-) CJ

Argghh... this makes me cringe and gives me the willies. It is really great! Someday I will come to visit this place myself. Ann

What a great view! My wife says she is getting dizzy merely from taking a look to this picture. This shot would have been on topic with the last challenge also. -Gerald
