Thank you Cat. yeah...thinking like a photog...although its becoming harder and harder to convince the other half about some eccentricities that come with the photography obsession hehehe -Abstract

WOW! What a shot Abs, ... perfect WB, perfect camera angle, and set up of cloths and shoes... you are doing a very convincing job that you still think like a photog, LOL! -Cat

Thank you CJ, Debby, Sharon, Sue Anne, Armin.
CJ, you are right. she definitely has a great taste...she chose me :)
Sharon, it took me a bit to set everything (clothing, focus, exposure, position, angle, lights) but then i could take only two shots. well, i couldnt convince myself to go back to the camera to set the timer ;)
you all are too much...my wife and I had a great laugh reading your comments.
thanks a lot for comments and especially for smiles. -Abstract

of course, I'm only complaining, that Abs is not dressing properly :o)
but obviously he managed to clear the situation in a way that dress code was no longer important ;o)
ctfchallenge26-Aug-2006 16:27
Debbi had it right Armin, I think she met him at the door after his hard day at work in what you see here. LOL ;-) CJ
sue anne26-Aug-2006 13:07
Hmmmm.... but what is beyond the door? I see something ..... :0
arminb26-Aug-2006 06:59
good taste in lingerie indeed, but look at the contrast again, she dressed herself most beautiful (well, shoes, lingerie... so I would expect the rest of the outfit to be as exquisit as well ) ...and what was Abs wearing...running shoes, T-shirt, ...shame on you ;o)))

I love this shot as much for the story it tells in the picture as for the mental image of the photographer dealing with the 10 second timer! Can I be indelicate enough to ask how many shots you had to take until you got the one you wanted? And, yet, it is all about the shoes! LOL! Good work! ~Sharon

LOL SOOOO funny! Looks like she was more anxious than him!

LOL - This is too funny! Great idea and I love her shoes. Your wife obviously has a great sense of humor....and good taste in lingerie! CJ

I always thought, it should be very obvious that this is a staged reenactment of a passionately intimate situation. :)
Ric, S1's 10sec self-timer was long enough to run in to the room btw. although it would have been easier if i had a wireless remote for my S1. -Abstract

Um - I don't wanna open a whole 'can 'o' worms' here but - err - if YOU took this photo - well, um, how can I put this - who's feet are they? I guess you might have set the camera up with tripod and timer, but if so you were pretty bl**dy quick - um - 'getting into position'. Just curious about your (photographic) technique... :oD

Thank you Armin, fly and Jano. yep! we are still in our honeymoon phase :)
You i havent processed this shot much so I will take care of some minor details (cleaning, cloning, dodge/burn etc) this weekend for sure. Thanks for bringing them to my attention. -Abstract
janewigginsphotography25-Aug-2006 01:46
The story is... Abs is still on his honeymoon :) Great shot Abs. I would clone out a few distractions in the carpet, in particular the one lower middle. I know you don't have much time for these details.... lol Great image! jano

Aam, the white shirt (with blue stripes) looks white on my monitor. btw, the walls are off-white/creamish and light is not fluorescent (floor lamps), so it might give you the wrong-wb impression. -Abstract
aam1234 24-Aug-2006 05:35
I don't blame you for messing the WB :)
