Very good rugged shot of your work boots. And the red adds to the browns.

Thanks Y:-)

Nicely done Rod. I too, like the red edges and the background colors. Yvonne

Red backs are spiders the same as your black widow spider you get in the States. Ours are jet black with a red bit on their backs. Their webs are mostly down low around the fences under the BBQ etc. Funny enough these boots are called Redback Boots (spider on the front tab in reversed colours) Unlike wot Paul wears these are a real mans boot:-)

Oh, well, the BBQ, that's okay then! I thought maybe we were looking at a piece of polished granite or lacquered furniture. But if it's a BBQ then it is perfect! I know what cane toads are but what are red backs? And, I know about that not bending down stuff. When I use my tripod I am always lifting the center support all the way up so I don't have to lean down to look through the viewfinder. ~Sharon

Thanks Sharon:-) They're sitting up on the BBQ which stops the cane toads & red backs from getting into them. Plus I didn't have to bend down to shoot them:-)

Nice close up shot, Rod. I like the bits of red to add some color and the brick background. I don't know about the shiny black surface they are sitting on though, something a bit more gritty would fit in better. More brick, maybe? ~Sharon

Rod - this is really great :) Love the detail, the caked on mud and the colorful tags. Just the right DOF imo. Good job. jano
