The best part is it can all be done from a comfy chair. RSI could be a problem though:-)

There you go, Rod! I really like your choice of filters and your decision on how much to use, or how little, has made for a very interesting image. I am afraid to say that I like it better than your original shot. Did you enjoy experimenting? It does look like you put some thought into it. ~Sharon

The ceramic is really very cool, tell the missus. That said, have you considered any PS manipulations? (LOL) I do like the lighting on the left sid eof the image, Yvonne

Thanks Sharon:-) Mereana liked the other shot better too but this one had nicer light. I will have another look at the other one.

I didn't get to see the Photoshopped version of this, so I can't tell how good of an aaahrtist you are Rod! I can tell that Mereana is a real artist, I like her ceramic shoe very much! I did see a version, I thought, with the shoe sitting on just pebbles. I think I like that version better than this one. In the other one the only real color was the laces. In this one the laces fight with the rust color. Although, the lighting in this one is very nice! ~Sharon

Rod, yeah I figured that out after I posted my comment. I was actually shocked at first to see a photo of yours so heavily manipulated. still its a good shot.

I was just messing blade because Yvonne posted a graphic above:-)

Rod, are you trying to make a statement here or just practicing with your editing program? Actually, it's rather an interesting effect but I do think I like your regular photo better. CJ

This kinda hurts my eyes - maybe it should go to pending :) jano

I think I've made it look better than the boots now Jano.............Well wot you think:-)

Mereana (forgive me if i spell her name wrong) did very good work with pottery! I've always wished I could do it. The lighting here is nice, but I prefer the old mudcaked workboots the best. This may be a series challenge.... for me :) jano
