Sharon - you're right! as I explained in my 1st photo's comment, I used an Ultrapod II to attach the club to the camera. So actually, I was panning the camera and the club/racquet moved along with it... The panning speed was relatively slow, combined with slow shutter speed - so you're not actually seeing the club moving anywhere near full speed here :) The ball is stationary on a tee, but appears in motion here because it's moving relative to the camera and club (!)
I hope the illusion isn't spoiled!

Am I right in guessing that you have the club, and in the other shot the racket, attached somehow to the camera? However you did it, it is very effective! ~Sharon
I like this one a great deal too b.c. The motion of the ball is terrific and I like the nice reflection on the club. How do you get these nice motion blur shots? :-) CJ
