Death of a Church 2*

Holyoke, Massachusetts USA

A shot through the rainy windshield of my car seemed to capture an appropriate feeling.

What a difference it made!! Already looks better now. There is still some remaining, but i think it looks more natural now. You might want to try Enhance --> Auto color correction in APElements or Image --> Ajustment --> Auto color in PSCS, which ever suits you. See if it makes any improvement. As it is, it looks far better now. -Cat

Here's a modified version with some of the green cast removed. I couldn't get rid of it completely, but at least the colors of the stones are closer to how they really look. Thanks for suggestion, Cat.

Heh-heh...you can even see the edge of the windshield in the lower left corner. Just in case you wanted proof. LOL

Was I relieved to read this was taken through the windscreen, I couldn't stand it if our Mary Anne resorted to tarting up in PS:-)

Great shot Mary Anne! The blurry effect of the rain on the windshield looks really good and even the bright sky looks right for this. Really sad to know this was torn down though. :-( CJ

I thought the green cast was just a result of the kind of day it was...never thought of the windshield. I'll play around with it when I have a chance. Thanks for the suggestion, Cat.

This is just magnificient!! There is a slight tilt to the structure, but given the abstract nature and the water color effect I think it works very nice. Did you give it a thought that the windshield might have added a green cast to your photo? How would it look if we could remove the cast? -Cat

This is absolutely fine! knowing its out-of-camera effect, not a pp treatment...double fine! -Abstract
