This is a very interesting building. I took a few photos when I was there. PeteH

It is definely a photo. If you hadn't told us it was done in PP I would have kept wondering. It would have been all good. Great Photo and nice PPing.

Even though I think this looks really very good it's not a photograph, it's now a graphic. So an excellent graphic mate & a lousy photograph:-)

This is a great series David! Great PP work to give an other wordly feeling to the image. My fav of the 3 - I think - I really like #2 also! :-) CJ

This one is just wonderful. Abstract and very subtle. Takes a while to figure out what are we looking at. Also the human figures help to judge the scale of this structure. -Cat

Regarding the result and not worrying about the fundamental problem whether the use of PS effects is against ethical values of photography or not I see that the flood filter does a real good job here. -Gerald

Hi aam1234 (sorry - useless with actual names!),

The original image was of The Sage (it's a new music venue). Dull flat light. These two guys are actually window cleaners - they suspend themselves from the rope - braver than me that's for sure. The water isn't real, but is the result of Photoshop (nobody thinks otherwise - right?) and I added it to hid the quite boring base of the building and to give the image some drama and symetry. For all this might look like a heavily PS'd image only the only real PSing is the water, other than some adjustments of curves, contrast, cropping and resizing.

David.
