Thanks sue anne, b.c. and jano. I will work on that purple area. Pretty bad at PS, but I should be able to do that, if it's the area that I think it is! Sorry for the repetition. It was really just my photo for yesterday and it seemed appropriate for the challenge. It really is about all I do all day. It was 11:30 and no photo for the day yet, so what's in front of me? This. So, there you have it! Glad you like it in spite of the repetition!

Excellent shot Christina and also perfect dof foreground and background. I would try and remove the purplish area from the lower left - probably could do that with simply changing this to grayscale or hue adjustment. This is very well done. I have to say, however, (and by no means will take away from your image) that this concept has been overdone. I think that for this challenge it is a strong image and you have done well with the tonal properties. Get rid of that purplish hue and it will be right on. Great job. jano
