Agree with you all, the DOF should be a little wider.
CJ - you are right...I should have stopped down a bit. Normally, I take more than one shot of a scene with different settings (learning process...just to see what works best)...but, was running low on memory...had to contend with one.
Rod, thanks for pointing out on how to handle these shallow DOF shots with flowers.

This is a great looking try RK when looking at the windows but for the flowers to work I think you need the brightest colour flower in focus as the OOF red ones are claiming they're the subject. I really like the angle too mate. Well done:-)
Wow! You have really achieved razor thin DOF. I think that's worth something! We've seen the gamut here. But I would agree that I'm having a hard time focusing on what's in focus. I like the composition, the colors, the lighting, it's just hard to see what part is in focus.
I like this too RK but I think I would like to see a little wider in-focus area too. If you could reshoot this at f/2.0, maybe that would do it. Love the colors and different angle of the shot! :-) CJ
Picture perfect! I really like the angle of this shot. Again, I'd like to see a little less oof in the foreground and more of oof in the back. I think my eyes are going crazy lol jano
