Bluebell woods by Rose

May in England is bluebell time. These woods have acres of them.

This is a really amazing picture. I like the light, the color and detail. Very nice spring feeling

What a gorgeous setting and well captured Rose! I'd like to sit out there and gaze at those beautiful flowers. I like the way they just seem to go on forever and the nice contrast with the green leaves. Great shot! :-) CJ

Very nice Rose. Seems as though you took care of the PF if there was some before.

I don't know what the "purple fringe" was, but this shot looks lovely.

Very nicely captured scene. I too really like the colors, the purples and greens look really good together. I wouldn't crop too much off the top though, and if you get rid of the purple fringe you may not have to.

Very simple to get rid of that fringe in PS...
select that area with the Lasso Tool, then open the Hue/Saturation dialog (from Image->Adjustments menu), select "Blues" from the top picklist,
set Hue to around -120 and adjust Saturation(decrease or increase) or just leave it be. Just a small tip.... You can tweak it a bit more if you like, after picking "Blues" from the picklist you can click out of the dialog, you'll see that the pointer now looks like the eyedropper tool, very carefully sample the purple area of the branches and now do the adjustments.

What a lovely scene, Rose. I agree with Jano about the crop.

Very pretty Rose - love the colors. I think a slight crop on top to take away the Pro1's purple fringing on the limbs would be good. I don't know how much PS you do, but if me I would overlay the bottom bluebells to make those pop out a little more. Lovely. jano
