Well I'm buggered, you would think that the grey car would have some hint of colour in the reflections. Me poor ole brain can't cope:-)

Thanks Rod, CJ, Brent, Britt and Abs.
CJ - you are right... there is no selective de-saturation here.
Rod - these cars do come in grey.

i will get bankrupt even by dreaming of these fine automobiles. -Abstract

It's quite possible that the car behind is just grey (hard to imagine for a Ferrari) But me brain is seeing definite greyscale. A colour shot that looks greyscale doesn't look odd to the brain like the partial de-sats, so a grey car shouldn’t either. It might be just age:-)
Britt 23-Apr-2006 19:53
This would be a great product shot. Nice job. :)
Brent 23-Apr-2006 16:03
Nice capture RK. I assumed the background was just a grey color rather than desaturated? A test drive would have been fun.

Love the color in this but wish the pairs would be a little more obvious - maybe by having the emblem show on the car in the background. And Rod, I could be wrong but I think that is a grey car and not desaturated. Nice dream! :-) CJ

Nicely done RK but the greyscale car in the background makes this look a very dated cliche.
