Thanks for your suggestions, David and Techo. I've made the changes on my HD, but for some reason pbase doesn't seem to be accepting the new version. I've tried about three or four times, exactly as I've always done it before. I'll give it a shot again tomorrow.

Wonderful sentiment. Nicely composed and like the way you worked with the shadows. I too see something lurking in the top right and left corners of the photo.

Beautifully composed, lit and shot Mary Anne. Well done. Maybe you should consider cloning out the whatever-it-is in the top left hand corner? Draws the eye ever so slightly away from the main subject.
