What a great place for a picnic! I bet this is really beautiful when the trees are leafed out. Nice take on the topic Paty! :-) CJ

I sharpened this photo a little bit. Thank you for your comments. It's a peaceful river and a fun one on which to canoe.

I would have a picnic here :)

I agree with Techo, nicely composed but could use a bit of sharpening. As far as the green, where I live depending on the humidity, grass and foilage can portray exactly this color :) Good eye for thsi one Paty. jano

It would be in the menu settings but if you haven't touched them then don't worry about it. It may just be the type of light on that day. So we will see over the coming challenges whether you need to alter anything.
If this is how it looked to you on that day then this is how the picy should look. So you captured it really well. Good work Paty:-)

I don't know. I will look. It was a beautiful day and this is how it looked outside. Where am I supposed to look to see about the settings?
Rod 17-Apr-2006 07:05
Do you have your in camera settings on vivid or what ever it's called Paty? These shots seem to have overly green grass much like a Velvia action gives in PS. (over saturation)
It can really suit some shots but if every shot is like it they start to get a samey look to them.

Nicely composed image. Good exposure here too. I find the image a little too soft. Extra sharpening might do the trick.

Thank you, Rod. This photo is as I took it without any post processing. The program is JASC, which is what I have on my computer.
Rod 16-Apr-2006 12:52
What post processing program do you use Paty? It will make it easier to make specific suggestions knowing what program you use.
Really nice composition on this shot:-)
