This has really grown on me through the challenge & the technique is really using the light very well. Good onya Lee.

Lee, I really enjoy the risks and exploration you provide. Gives me lots of ideas. Yvonne

I am sure I am not the first.

How very interesting. Don't think I've ever seen this kind of technique used. The best OOF shot I've ever seen. I do like the softness. Though to me it looks more like a dream sequence than a haunt. I may or may not like the shot more with the desk and object more in focus and silhouette like, but the feeling sure came across in this shot.

thanks guys!
Kit lens is pretty good. But when you put it on manual and shoot out of focus, this is what you get. I was shooting more for a mood and playing with the light that was hitting the wall.

I like the shadows a lot but i don't like such a blur. A glow around the window would work well but i keep on wanting to rub my eyes.

Sue Ann reckons that the kit lens is pretty good at all apertures, but seeing this shot maybe we should avoid F7.1:-)

Very nice, Lee! I like the soft fuzziness of this, it really gives the feeling of a lazy afternoon. Lovely! ~Sharon
