Rich, i just received this refrigerator magnet scramble thingy from citibank and as heart was the only red thing, i just clicked a pic. had to think a little bit to decide on composition though. a little curve adjustment for high-key and red-color boost are the only post-processing steps.
Rents, thinking of it...yeah. this could have worked in the last challenge too.
CJ, i agree this is predominantly a blue photo but what is the most important thing in the shot? The RED heart. even without the title, this shot screams 'red' heart to me and dof helps the cause. i thought about partial saturation, but then blue/red and oof/in-focus gives enough conceptual contrast in the image.

I like the shallow DOF, composition and lighting in this but it seems to say Blue to me instead of Red. Did you try B&W with the Red heart? That might be interesting! :-) CJ

I like. No criticisms. Would also have done well for typography I think.
