Mary Anne, Yes, this doll is a family heirloom. My mother used to drag her out of the trunk that was kept in the loft above the garage once every seven years or so. I was always aghast that anyone would have ever play with her; she is jointed and stiff. My thoughts were similar to Britt's which are now lost for eternity. Now she sits in a doll's high chair in the corner of my dining room collecting dust as everything else in my house does :)

Paty, next time if you want to reload a picture, just hit "Edit Picture" at the top instead of totally deleting it. When you delete and upload a new picture you lose all previous comments and sometimes it helps to keep those comments there to see how much you have improved. If you have questions, ask anyone...we have very helpful administrators here who will do their best to help out. :)

Very nice shot Paty I really like the angle you shot this on. Well done:-) Paty when you want to change a picy just log on, pick the gallery & then click on your picy & it will open up as it does normally. Up the top you will see edit this picy, click on that & you get the thumbnail & all the gobblygook. Scroll down & just click on browse which will open the last folder you uploaded from on your HD. Guide this to the picy you want to replace the original with & just click upload & it will replace your original. The exif won’t change but you can edit this by hand if you want too.

Paty, this is much better, don't you think? I would also try increasing the contrast and/or saturation to get warmer tones. I wish I had seen Britt's comments...I love the look of this old doll. Is it a family heirloom? --Mary Anne

Britt, I loved your comments about this gorgeous old doll and would have loved to have saved them, but just getting picture on the challenge is still a challenge. Trying to replace the picture was just too much for me. Thanks. Paty
