We'd love to see some more of your pics Paty. Btw, this one is not shabby at all.

Thank you all for your input. I think I've killed these flowers already. I don't have all the editing accessories yet, but that is in the near future. Thanks again for all your input. All these "red" photos are simply stunning.

Hope your knees are good Paty :) because I would suggest getting down and taking a pic at a lower angle. Still looks better than the other attempts. Well done.

I like this image best too Paty- nice composition. It seems there is more that could be done with it editing to give it more pop. Maybe some Unsharp Mask or a Curve adjustment if you have a program to do them would help? That's what I would try first with my limited skills anyway. Still a nice image just as it is.

I like this one better than the other iteration. It's sharper and you can see more texture on the can. also like to see lines going of the edge of the picture (such as on the wheel) which make it seem more dynamic.

This composition is excellent! Glad I suggested it. LOL It does still seem a bit flat (or the more I look at it, it's probably just the old color of the can and the dreary colored wall.) Looks much better than the flash picture from before. More natural. Nice job Paty. :)

I also like this much better! Much better as far as focus and composition. I might also play with the brightness/contrast, trying to darken it up a tad and up the contrast every so slightly to see if that enhances it even more. Very nice Paty. jano

Yes this works a lot better than the first one as the composition is very good. Nicely shot Paty:-)

I like this one better too Paty. As Mary Anne said the composition and focus are better. I like the old wheel in the background - it adds a lot to the composition :-) CJ

Paty, I think this is the better of your two pansy shots, both compositionally and in terms of having sharper focus. I think it would be really dramatic if you get a day with good strong side lighting sometime in the early morning or late afternoon.
