Thanks Brent! Nope, I've stared and stared for five minutes and all I could see was vine branches and Hebrew letters :-)

Very nice Oved. Am I the only one who sees what looks like the word "runt" at the top though? I hope I didn't say anything sacrilegious here :-)

This is beautiful writing. I keep wondering if it was in color like the illuminated manuscripts of the Book of Kells. Great idea and although it looks good in B&W, I'd love to see a colored version of this if you have one :-) CJ

Oved, this is oversized at 152KB. Could you reduce it to 150KB or less and repost? Thanks!
The Hebrew and the decoration in this are both really lovely. I wonder what the image would look like if the type totally filled the page. It might be too much, but it might be something to try to get a little more impact. Well seen! ~Sharon

Thank you, Jano! Actually, Hebrew is written from write to left. Had it been the Bible, this would be the first page - the facing page to the right would be blank! As it happened, I took it from the Hebrew Encyclopedia "Print" item, so there was something printed on that page. I may try the "book read by candle light" sometime...

Very intricate - is there writing on the facing page? If so, it might be interesting to see some different comps - even using some candlelight for a mood factor. This is very nicely exposed. jano
