These colors are beautiful!I haven't seen the "oversharpened image" but this looks just fine to me...

Hello Yvonne,
I like the photo and precise focus. You did mentioned it was tough. Just wondering, if you had a chance to explore anything less than f/8.0? -Cat

Yes, I think the softening helps--the branch is still nice and clear, and the background (is that what is called the bokeh?) is nicely out of focus. I like it a lot more.

Hi Pals, Thanks for the input. This one was a bit tough with the lens I had on and hand holding. I softened it up a bit, can you tell? Yvonne

This is so pretty Yvonne. Love the browns and blues. I'm going to paint my dining room these colors LOL

Beautiful color, DOF. * oversharpened: halos around branches, texture on leaves stands out excessively

Fig newtons? lol. I know how hard it is to get a shot like this Yvonne - even the slightest breeze can sour a pic. This might be a tad bit oversharpened, but not to my eye at first sight. I actually like the browns with the blue background. Nicely captured IMO! jano

Nice composition and color, Yvonne, but it looks oversharpened to me. I think this one needs to have a somewhat softer look.
