A dramatic statement of the poor pumpkins and patch left behind - i know it's silly but i always feel a bit sorry for them :) Great shot. jano

Lonnit, I really like the recent post processing technique I've seen you use but think it really fits this shot even more than the other post. I also think, even with more than one pumpkin this shot is right on topic. They are all left behind on the field aren't they, not human in sight.

Rod, have I told you yet today that I LOVE you!!! WoooooHoooooooo! You made my day, baby! BTW, that's four pumpkins... and a chunk. Odd numbers are always better. ;) You spoke my thoughts exactly about there being more than one pumpkin. I believe the concept is strong like this. There were dozens left behind, nicked and crushed, but still thier numbers doesn't make them any less tragic. It's almost like a battlefield. One would be sort of, "so, what... a pumpkin was left? Who cares?". Several indicates that there were hoards, along with crowds of people, and I believe adds much more drama.

I do love edgy and that is the direction I'm going. I know it's not the most popular thing to do, but it satiates my heart. Nobody gets famous for "safe" art. LOL! Thanks again for the support! ~ Lonnit

Blimey this works well for me too, I love the placement of the four pumpkins. I suppose it could be said there should only be one in the shot for this topic but it wouldn't have made for a great shot like this. I love the edginess you're getting in your shots now Lonnit, possibly your fan club might lose members but your artiiiistry is certainly going up. Good Girl:-)
