Markjay and Rod, thanks for your comments. Meersburg is a picturesque medieval little town right by Lake Constance, Europe's second or third largest freshwater lake. Lake Constance is bordered by Austria, Germany and Switzerland. I think Meersburg does not have much more than five thousand inhabitants so it is no wonder that not everybody knows it. Unfortunately, visibility was not clear enough; under better conditions, this location would offer a beautiful view of the Alps.
