Hi alexeig, I haven't heard of Kandinsky but I'll surely go and try to find out more about the artist and artwork. Thanks

This has a Kandinsky feel to it

Thanks for sharing your thoughts everyone. Appreciate it :)

I added the gradient and swirly lines in Photoshop. I've tried a few other ways before hand to get the unique draw effect from each tool without PS first, but it just didn't look as good.

Abstract, thanks. I was wondering if someone would mention that. At first I thought I would re-do and fix that, then thought that little imperfection would make this look a bit less graphic like and more hand drawn. I'm still wondering what to do about it.

Paul, thanks. That too was one nick I was thinking of. In the process of choosing a brush I actually chose that on because of the errant bristles. Since it makes that brush silhouette look even more like a brush but I do agree... maybe I'll patch it up just a bit.

Haha Techo's been imaging again:-) Does look effective though.

Excellent. I really like the black curve that cuts across the other lines. Very creative all round. I hate to be a pain though and say that the brush for the red line with the bristles apart makes me want to touch the screen of my monitor and push the errant bristles into place, is it possible to fill in the gap between the bristles without buggering up the image?

Techo, this is very very impressive. simple, effective, silhouette yet colourful, curves with diagonals...really impressive. -Abstract
ps: 0.0000001% imperfection in the image is the lack of smoothness in the blue curve close to the tip of the pen.

Excellent idea; and executed very well. A very nice composition, mixing the straight lines with the curves.
