Fantastic. Great watching point - this year on fourth of July I've had just the crowd on FDR drive between me and the fireworks :(and no tripod)...

Great shot, Lonnit. Whatever you did, it really worked. These look like the real thing, not the typical time exposure shots we're used to seeing.

Thanks Shu. Aam, it's the real deal. I shot a series of fireworks. It was my first time shooting them and I was stunned by the results. I was so glad that I had not taken the time to read up on how to do it because I feel my results were unique. If I'd have done it like everyone else, I'd have gotten more typical looking shots.
