Razor Shave *

It's hard enough not to get cut while shaving, let alone taking a picture at the same time! :)

Jano, I did try a B/W, but the wife didn't approve :-) Tried several conversion techniques but didn't find the right one :-(
Mary anne, maybe if tomorrow wouldn't be a crazy day at work as today was, I'll try a softer light. (100W at 60-90cm (2-3 feet) is good light for shaving, but seems too harsh on the photo.. )

Thank you both for the suggestions.

Oved, would you consider a re-take with some directional lighting to give it an early-morning look? I really like the idea here and the use of the lather, but the light just seems too harsh.

Hi Oved - why not try a B&W? I think there is or could be some strong constrast here, especially with the shaving cream, to make a striking B&W photo. :) jano

Thanks you Rod and Jano.
Rod, you are wecome to post a shaving picy, I wouldn't mind even if you put it ahead of mine, as I trust the inteligence of the viewers and voters; they'll catch up on such tricks in no time :)

Jano, unfortuneately I've taken this shot with auto white balance so the original has strong reddish/orange cast. I used the "Virual Photographer" filter with the natual portrait setting to get a better color. Reducing the brightness increases the reddish color :-( I'll try to get reed of the color cast from the original, reprocess and replace .

Nice shot Oved - Nice and sharp and color is excellent. * There is something "hazy" about this photo - can't put my finger on it - maybe a little too bright? jano

Nice shot Oved it works very well. I was half thinking of a shaving shot, now I can't :-) Maybe if I move your shot down & post mine above yours, posters will say you copied my shot:-)
