It's along those lines. I think it's a trick that car magazines use a lot. They have special frames with suction cups to attach to the body work. With this shot I've used a standard tripod tie wrapped to the roll bar by one leg, with the other 2 resting on the body work.
Then I drove very slowly around being very cautious about the frame moving about. I went forwards a bit, onto a road, then back again through the gate into the car park. I took the photo while going backwards, hence my expression. It did come out a lot better than smoe of the other shots though apart from that.
i see that you have made some extended frame/tripod on the back of your car. very cool.
i dont know where did i see it...but in a shot i remember, the person attached a frame on the top of on the rear wheel, and then pushed the car in circle for a minute in a long exposure. was that one of your shots? i really like this one too. i wish, your expression was filled with joy/excitement though. -Abstract
