Paul...conceptually you should have said 'Duh!' to me. its me, who can reply with 'Doh!' in this situation. :)
its just the different ways we interprete the 'sloth', i think.
Thank you Jano for explaining the way i have tried to portray 'sloth' here.
Yvonne, dont worry...the rope wasnt tied somewhere on the ceiling or with the permanent fixture. i was holding it with my other arm to pulling it up.

Sloth: Aversion to work or exertion; laziness; indolence. I can see the connection as the escapism identifes itself to the aversion of life itself. Imaginative shot and well done. jano

Abs, definitely sin but i don't know which of the 7 deadlies it would come under. My vision of sloth is sort of Homer Simpson type and this ain't no Homer photo. D'oh!

Will not comment on the "content". But will suggest a little bit more contrast to make it more dramatic. Just a thought.

Thank you James, Paul and aam.
Paul, its funny...out of the three, i was most confident about this one (being on-topic).
to make the relavence to sloth obvious (the way i see it)...i chose the title 'escapism' instead of 'suicide'.
in any case, killing someone (or self) is one of the (if not the) biggest sin, right?

Looks so real it's scary. Well done Abs.

Striking image indeed but the link to sloth is a bit of a dodgy one for me.

A very striking image! Life is a very precious gift and should be lived to the full.
