I like this version, Yvonne...and I think the crop was a good idea as well. How do you feel about it?

Yvonne, I'd try to brighten it till you get a whiter cloud in the window. If you set the black point, you shouldn't lose that nice black shadow behind the missing window panes. Have you tried increasing the contrast and/or sharpness?

This is a striking image, Yvonne. The irregular angles of the window panes give it a dynamic quality. However, I think it's a bit too dark. I'd try lightening it and then adding some contrast and/or sharpening, but not too much. You want just enough to make the texture of the wood clearer, but not so much that the edges look too hard and outlined.
