27 Aug 2005 Abstract

one life one love *

This mug is actually black and white.
I performed desaturation step in PP, just to remove the 'milky' whiteness of the mug.

IMP: Please watch the image at 'Original' size. Other options are causing artifacts in the image.

CLICK HERE for my original shoot idea. i couldnt get the desired dof with s1 for obvious reasons, so used the d70.

other sizes: small medium large original auto

Thank you for the comments Techo. it was fun getting this shot, especially white on white background was the most difficult part. -Abstract

aam, bingo...its the eye level view point that made me decide to chooze this shot over others from the batch.
Paul, i put my personal favourite message of the mug at 1/3 line from left and used the curved handle message for dynamic element. to enhance the effect, i kept right light closer to the cup than the left one.
thank you for comments. -Abstract

Excellent Abs, such a simple idea but it really grabs your attention because of the way you've angled the cup.

Found it! among other things, I like the eye level composition. Yes, that's it (for me).

Don't know what it is, but like this photo a lot. Maybe simplicity.
