Thanks Oved. I had it confused with Hidden Lake in Glacier Nat'l Park. If you ever happen there, bring some grasshoppers for the trout. You have to walk a long ways down and then it seems even more miles up lol but just beautiful. Unfortunately, we could only find one lone grasshopper there and that's what the trout wanted it seems :( jano

Thanks, Jano. Crater Lake is in Oregon, US. \Oved

I really hate to say anything, but now the lake is draining into my printer. Maybe it is just my monitor but I think you tipped it too far the other way. Try making the far edge of the lake level, say a straight line between the bottom of the rocks on the right and the back rocks sticking out into the lake on the left, that should do it! ~Sharon

Fixed. \Oved

It happens all the time Oved :) The good news is that you can correct it easily.

Woops, that's what may happen when you do not take your tripod on a trip :-( Will try to fix that when I get back from work. Thanks a lot, Sharon. (Funny how the obvious should be pointed out to us, many times:)

Regarding the blue, that's the exact colour Crater Lake is famous for...

This is a lovely shot that would be greatly improved by leveling the horizon. At the moment the lake looks like it might be emptying out the left side of the picture. I know that would make your foreground crooked but I think that might be less distracting than the horizon. Love the blues! ~Sharon
