As others said, you can’t appreciate this great image from the thumbnail. Well done.
-Jose Pablo.

Shame you didn't get a shot for the creative telephoto challenge Sharon. But if you wait until I win one of these challenges I will make the topic uncreative telephoto, then you won't be so stumped:-)

Thanks for all your nice comments everyone. I was wandering through the cemetery next door looking for "creative telephoto" shots and almost literally stumbled across this. No luck with the telephoto shots though, that one has me stumped! ~Sharon

Sharon, what a great eye and creative photo for this challenge. I was thinking about this today and (after slapping myself silly) you have definitely thought outside the box on this one. Excellent texture shown as well. jano

Great bold color with wonderful details. It makes me want to touch it.

Good one Sharon. The essence is not at all obvious from the thumbnail.... :-) I wonder why was the red brick painted red... -Cat

Thanks, guys! It was fun working with this in PS to get it back to this color (the color I saw when I shot it). For some reason it came out of the camera rather purple, I must have had the white balance set incorrectly . I am still learning! ~Sharon

Purple on purple would have been cool too!

Rod's explanation made it clear to me: This is on topic, spot on! You have a great eye for interesting shots. -Gerald

I'm with Rod on this, i thought it was just a brick wall from the thumbnail but once opened the paint against the brickwork works really well. Well spotted.
Rod 07-Aug-2005 06:34
At first I thought this is one colour not Colour on colour. But the red paint on the red brick is colour on colour init:-) Nice one Sharon.
