Thank you Techo for your understanding. Thanks Yvonne for your kind words. after reading these comments, it is satisfying that i was able to convey some of my feelings through the image. -Abstract

Abs, This is a very nicely done shot and it is very symbolic. Sometimes hurt eats away at us slowly. The colors, composition and lighting are great. Yvonne

No worries & thanks Abstract. I got into a friendly internet confrontaion once, even though it was friendly It wasn't very pleasant, it was nothing really. I should be even more careful anyway. :) but I'm thinking sorry for cluttering up the OT comments for your photo. You obvisiously put a lot of thought into this photo and it shows in the details.

Techo, i know you were refering to setting-fire with respect to Rod's awesome news paper shot...so it wasnt offensive. i am sorry, if my comment gave you that impression. -Abstract
Techo 01-Aug-2005 00:11
Sorry Abstract. My apologies. If you deem so , please delete my comment.

Thank you aam. you are very kind with your words. :)
Techo, i doubt i would be setting fires...i am sure, my apartment manager wouldnt appreciate a big black burn stain.
Rod, i see your point but i believe in subtility. i feel everything doesnt need to be graphic as long as the image relays the necessary message.
btw i dont see any reason of responding to your question (about burning the card), especially considering the tone of it. comments on techincal aspect of photos (exposure, composition etc) is a not a problem but 'smileys' magically do not make comments inoffensive, especially in personal emotional matters. you must be careful.
thank you for your smoke/burn-scar comment though. -Abstract

Now Rod, I don't think Abs is ready for that step? yet? or maybe he's not that kinda guy.

;)
Rod 31-Jul-2005 05:46
Would have been nice to see some of the burn scars & smoke to give meaning to your words. Did you burn the card, or were you just being dramatic?:-)

Opps, add "have" to my comment.

Techo, thats exactly the reason for the stem to go through 'happy' word. thank you for your comments. -Abstract
ctfchallenge30-Jul-2005 22:31
Very thoughtful comments. Which do very well relate to this photo. I find that the stem going through the letter 'A' in happy stands out like a cross through one's heart aswell?
