I love the character of these old books. This just wouldn't look nearly as good with books hot off the press. WTG.

Thanks, everyone! The pile only fell on me once while I was trying to shoot it, it was very tippy! And, yes, Paul, you are right, it is only about 6 feet high.

I really like the perspective here with the sense that the pile will come tumbling down any moment. Seems as if the top of the pile is near the ceiling too but i'm assuming it's only head height or so.

A great looking pile. I wouldn't have thought a pile of books could be made interesting, but the way you have set this up makes it really good to look at. Well done & well worth the effort.
