A Potted Plant *

At first I called it a "Potted Tree" but since I'm shrinking the tree down
to a plant I decided to change the name. The urn is on a pedestal which I
thought was better cropped out.

Hey, Rich, nice shot! The things you can grow in a teensy little pot these days....

Very nice pic. I agree, maybe closer to the pot, the perspective could be increased.

Thanks Jano, Abs, and Rod. I'm considering all, it seems as though there is often more than one way to interpret each entry. Rich

Great idea Rich & a great shot. I don't agree that the pot should be brought forward as the disproportion is the bleeding big tree in such a small pot. Bring the pot forward & it will look big enough for the tree & you lose the disproportion.
Don't listen to these point & shooters mate:-)

Very cleverly done, made me laugh.

somehow my first response to the image was a smile (not in a negative manner)...its a "cute" shot. i like it. i agree with Jano here, if you dont do that, please crop/clone out two really small corners from the bottom of the pot. nice entry, Rich.

I really think this is a great idea and is a beautiful composition - very sharp and detailed. I think it would be even more dramatic if the subject (pot) was brought in closer for more disproportion. Very nice. jano
