Hello Syun. Could you please explain a little what "private blog" means. Thanks.
Guest 30-Jan-2006 06:15
nice shot !
please give me a permission for my private blog.
if any, advised.
the best regards from Japan.
aam1234 08-May-2005 07:45
Thank you Alex. That's some kind of sweet, and it's very tiny
alexeig07-May-2005 18:39
Really inviting coffee and well composed shot. What is there besides the cup?
aam1234 06-May-2005 23:45
It does look like a bird's nest doesn't it. Good catch Shu! (and I consumed few of the those before taking the pic...opps).
ctfchallenge06-May-2005 23:26
I like the color version as well. I also like the little bird's nest on the saucer. Cute! Shu
aam1234 06-May-2005 20:23
Thanks Paul.
Paul 06-May-2005 20:17
Excellent! Significantly more inviting than the b+w version. Keep this one.
aam1234 06-May-2005 17:17
Ha ha Dorys. Actually this is a decaf . When I reach my limit (3 cups) I switch to decaf or tea.
Guest 06-May-2005 17:09
i love this version. very inviting. i wish i drank coffee!!! maybe with a shot of whiskey... LOL
aam1234 06-May-2005 16:39
Thanks Abstract. I was worried about the BG, that's why I converted it to B&W (and sepia).
ctfchallenge06-May-2005 15:56
frankly...i did not like the bw version (your cup is already bw, so what was the point? its not gonna distract you from the subject-coffee) but i definitely like this one. the coffee actually looks like coffee and the shot has meaning to it now. even bg fruit colors add interest to the shot. wtg aam. -Abstract

Thanks Cat, appreciate your comment.
Guest 06-May-2005 14:21
I didn't see the earlier versions, but I like what you've got now. Good one Aam -Cat
aam1234 06-May-2005 14:19
Thanks Andy, I'm going to get me one of those too :) Btw guys, what do you think of the BG, it's the BG that made me choose B&W first.
ctfchallenge06-May-2005 13:37
Great image. nice colours. Im going to get one right now......

Thanks Uncle Rod. Glad that you liked it.
Rod 06-May-2005 10:17
A big bleeding difference mate. You now have a good shot, I really like this one.
aam1234 06-May-2005 10:06
How about now, any difference.
aam1234 06-May-2005 09:50
Didn't think of that. Thanks.
Rod 06-May-2005 09:23
You can replace this shot with the colour one, let us all have a look & then change it back to this one.
aam1234 06-May-2005 04:16
Thanks Lee. Paul, I don't have any photos online, so I can't post the color version.
Paul 06-May-2005 01:24
Aam, i didn't see the sepia version. I mean this is a far better portrayal of the topic than the solitary cup that you posted first. This one has life and warmth to it. I'd like to see a colour version, do you have a link to one?
ctfchallenge06-May-2005 00:00
Now that tells a stroy. Good job aam1234. theFly
aam1234 05-May-2005 21:10
Thanks Dorys. Wish I can post the color version either here or the main thread, but I don't have it (or any other photo) online.
Guest 05-May-2005 21:00
i like this version better than the first. your eye isn't drawn only to the remaining gritty foam. that kinda bothered me on the first shot. i wonder though, how this would look in color. part of the attraction of expresso is the warm colors of the coffee and foam. B&W seems to cold for this type of photo.
aam1234 05-May-2005 20:12
Thanks Paul. Just so I understand your comment, did you mean better in B&W (compared to sepia) or better than the first "espresso".
Paul 05-May-2005 20:02
Much, much better Aam, has a real feel to it. Very inviting
aam1234 05-May-2005 19:51
OK, I changed it to B&W. Didn't like the sepia that much.
aam1234 05-May-2005 19:27
B&W? what B&W! it's in sepia Uncle Rod!
aam1234 05-May-2005 19:25
Thanks Rob. Btw, Rob is an Italian, so he knows a thing or two about espresso.
Rod 05-May-2005 19:21
I have to use my imagination as to how good that coffee was. It must be the B&W as the coffee creama does not look too appetising to me. What's it like in colour aaaammm?
Guest 05-May-2005 18:54
Good, good, good shot. I like it a lot. Rob
aam1234 05-May-2005 18:38
Thanks! RK
