Distracting sticks? vines? brownish things? Surely we're not talking about the stems of the daffodils that are essential to holding up the flowers with the weight of water on them and as such are essential to the photograph? The only other things i can see in the photograph that resemble what folks are on about is the grass out of focus in the background which is spot on.
Many thanks for comments, guys and gals. Dorys and Cat: I agree that the brownish things at the left down corner are a bit distracting. The blur is from DOF though and not from PS, I have not much experience with imitating DOF in PS

Good one Alexeig, I like how you got the water drops so perked up in such a diffused light. (*) can you blur the brown sticks/vines more, its little distracting IMO. -Cat
The diagonal stems and shallow dof add a nice effect but the water droplets make it work. Rich

When i saw the thumbnail i thought that this would be stretching the topic somewhat ,although of course plants need drink to survive, but this is excellent and your title for the shot is perfect. I like too the irony of the very thing needed to keep them alive is almost crushing them and breaking their necks. Great stuff.
