Closed eyes was not the result of camera flash, but, rather, the fact that I always close my eyes when I hug........I had my arms around him. A hug like this is sooo special and I was enjoying it, in spite of his uneasiness. Grandparents have certain rights....LOL Shu

Love the two expressions. Yours as a Grandma is perfect and so is Nic's. I can feel the love you have and what he's feeling at the moment. I wasn't one of those shy kids in school but I guess it all depends on the friends who stare back ;-) There is some motion blur but the faces are sharp is what counts. The more I think about it, the more I like the extra motion blur. It adds more emotion to the photo
