Santa Ana

This picture was shot at Santa Ana Park, which is on Central Avenue. Nowadays it only has pedestrian traffic. You can buy anything here, from onions at 0.20 per lb, to home-made hot sauce.

Thanks Paolo! Mike, I realized something after I took the picture and began seeing it as if it was from someone else: If you by any chance enter the image where the shoe cleaning guy is, there's a Fibonacci curve that goes under the umbrellas passes thru the girl behind the cebollas, the girl with the shopping bags, the hot sauce bottles and points to the sitting couple. Or is it me?

Thanks Techo, that's one of the reasons I didn't crop the hand. The other is that if tried to crop it, I would crop the womans feet...

I would say it's very good and very much on topic. I don't find the hand in the front distracting, I think it's adds to the atmosphere in the photo, buy and sell :) -Techo.

I love this kind of shots. There’s so much to see here. The guy cleaning the shoes, the couple talking, the girl looking at merchandise and .… that’s a great price on Cebolla man ;) Srf_Cast
