Loterķa *

Salsipuedes

"La Bajada de Salsipuedes" means something like "the get-out-if-you-can downhill street". It is not a very nice area, btw, hence the name. This man is selling lottery tickets with some aloe plants on the background (for home remedies).

Very good shot, the white shirt sleeve is a bit distracting. Well done Humberto.

Mary Anne, just as Jose Pablo comments, Mariano is Panamanian, so this guy may well be a fan...

Jose Pable, thanks for your comments!

Mary Anne,
I bet he is! And also a big fan of Mariano Rivera.

Nugar,
Your 3 pictures are great. Congratulations.

Interesting shot. Do you think he's really a Yankees fan?

The Gov. The Official name is Lotería Nacional de Beneficencia and its proceeds are used for social work. On one of my exhibition images theres a young woman selling tickets too.

Nugar, don't know the history, but it's a whole town... a small one tough.. I know I've been there once or twice...but don't remember in which state...

Thanks for the suggestion, Alex, I will try it...

Pedro: A whole town? Was it dangerous at some point in history?

His hand tells that he is very eager to play. You might consider softening a shadow around his eyes by selecting the upper part of his face, take feather around 20 and apply shadow/highlights to your taste
