4th Place
* The Driver

New York City

Stopped next to this gentleman at a traffic light, he was absolutely oblivious to
the fact that I was in the next car, an arms length away, with a huge 75-300mm
pointing right at him! LOL! People usually sense someone looking at them from the
next car, but not this guy! LOL! I flipped when I saw the reflections in his window
and his profile beyond. I just love this shot! I hope you do too. :)

This, BTW, was taken the day I took my 75-300mm IS USM out for a spin to determine
which lens I'd be replacing my 28-135mm with. I was so happy with the len's performance
that day, and this was one of the shots that proved it a keeper. It made me certain
I'd be very happy with the 24-70mm L as it's companion. :)

This one is purely fantastic. Modern man in a modern city

LOL! He's probably learned to tune out the nagging wife from his peripherals! LOL! ~ Lonnit

Lonnit, it’s not surprising you love this shot. I love it too. The guy looks like he’s under a lot of stress, not to mention that he lost a pillow LOL Srf_Cast

That's great, I love the pose and the expression, although people like that generally scare me on the road, they seem oblivious to anything that isn't within their 15 degree field of vision. -- Richard H.
