Cleveland Bus Stop *

Cleveland in OZ

This is Cleveland the Town centre of the Redland shire where I live. Since the large growth in the area Cleveland has been modernised but still has kept some of the old character. When we moved here from Sydney 20yrs ago Cleveland was a country looking town with a wide main street & beautiful Poinciana trees down both sides of the road. These trees go a glorious red when they flower.

Thanks Amm & Humberto:-) Yes the Poinciana is very similar to the Jacaranda, I don't know me trees but the only way I can tell them apart is when they flower. The Poinciana is red & the Jacaranda is sort of purple. I hope I got that the right way around:-)

Beautiful! Love the saturated colors here too. I think we have those trees here. They may be either an acacia, a flambouyant or a jacaranda. But most certainly another thing.
