State Fair (*)

Texas

The Annual State Fair of Texas is held every October. You can see it all there, from oversized pigs to historical exhibits. I caught this sign which welcomes every one to the Fair and felt it conveyed what everyone thinks about Texas, that we are all a bunch of country folks wearing those silly 10 gallon hats.

hey our state fair is always big news around these parts! best corn dog you could ever buy is made right there at the fair. thanks rod , I had to find something to participate in your challenge.

Normally I would want a longer shot to show the surroundings but the sign does ease it into on topic territory & the fact that you're only a girl:-) Really nice shot Melissa. Well done.
