I'm not really a landscape photographer or lover, but this one seemed OK so I've put it in anyway

Ah Yes Rod, I meant Burn ;-) Sorry about that.

Beautiful dramatic landscape. I am not sure about the brown hue of the sky, though. Maybe more towards cooler hues?

Iso, This is great! I was expecting to see more of these types of photographs than we have during this challenge. I’m glad you submitted it. Personally, the lower trunks of trees being absent does not bother me much at all as the focus appears to be the sun lit field and the beautiful sky and not so much the trees. Brian

But, I thought these challenges allowed you to trespass. I had to convince my wife that this was not true last night. We were driving around looking for golden shots and she kept pointing out possible pictures to take. I had to keep reminding her that in order to get the shot I had to enter someone elses property. Nice shot and very good PS work on the clouds. I would also like to see the psd file. theFly

The trees are cut off because this is the scene as I found it. I'm actually standing in a hedge about as tall as me at the roadside to get the shot, and thus I couldn't walk any closer. Nutter - I'll try and post a layered PSD file after the challenge if I didn't flatten it.

Dodge is to lighten Techo, do mean burn as in to darken?:-)

Very nice. I was thinking this was an iso3200 image from the thumbnail :-)
The dodged clouds add an interesting effect. I'm too chicken to try that out for myself on any of my photos.

Techo.

Nice shot. Iso, what kind of PS work did you do to the sky? Did you cut the trees off because of buildings on the other side of the hill? Just wondering..

Beautiful!!

Nice use of negative space. Glad you don't like landscapes! 8-) (*) I wish the bottom of the trees were not cut off by the hill. theFly

It's much more than OK, Iso. Wonderful gold-toned clouds and nice composition. You're too modest. (How could I say that after your self-portrait? LOL)
