My wife saw this picture and said "WOW, what a beautiful picture! That's not one of yours!" grrrr.
Rod 09-Feb-2005 07:18
Agree 100% Julian, most of us know black is beautiful:-)

Beautiful twilight shot, the colors are very appealing. Why put such a stark white frame of odd size behind your exquisite image? Markjay
Julian Hebbrecht08-Feb-2005 13:55
Great shot but the white frame attracts too much attention IMHO. I think Rod will agree with me here. If you want to use a frame, why not use a black one?

I second Salman's Vow:-) Very nice smooth sky. The only thing I'm uneasy with is the four light poles which take a little away from the tranquil nature of the shot. Well done Richard you're gradually getting on topic:-)

Richard, this is a beautiful exposure. loved it.
as there is no *, i am not sure whether i should comment but i know you take constructive criticism well so...you have not followed the rule of the thirds, so why not include the complete reflection of boats? -Abstract

LOL! I was about to tell you "that camera sure takes good pictures" just to annoy you. But seriously, the best camera in the world is no good if you don't know how to use it(you know it). This photo is winning material.

Nugar, thanks for the compliment.... But its not me... It's the Pro1 that should take the credit :-) .... I'm finding that this camera can produce results and a certain quality that is something I have never quite experienced before, from any digicam I've owned. It really is amazing in terms of dynamic range, fidelity of colour and nailing the exposure every time. I'm so glad I bought this camera and traded the G6!

You certainly know how to use a camera!
