Great idea to tilt the angle

I just got the addy change email today. I too have 2 cds sitting here for the past 2 weeks waiting for me to burn the next two and get them sent off. So far I've only got about 50 images up. I will never make a sale! LOL! ~ Lonnit

Alamy's address is in Milton Park. I have on cd on QC queue, two en route and two to burn, which I'll most probalby do today and mail tomorrow.

I hated the tamron. I exchanged it for the similar canon 28-135mm 2 weeks after I got it. It wouldn't focus clearly enough and it was also very slow and noisy on focusing.

What, or who is Milton Park? I'm sitting on 2 CDs that need to go to Alamy. I held onto them b/c I was going to burn a few more. So, they've been sitting here 2 weeks now. I should have sent them as soon as I was done with them. It keeps happening that way. ~ Lonnit

I think, based on the short experience I have, that Sigma makes some nice glass. My 70-200 2.8 gets really nice colors and beautiful bokeh. While I'm happy with the Tamron, I don't think it gives the same image quality as the Sigma. My depleted photo budget won't stand ant L glass for the time being. I hope that the new batch of images I'm sending to Milton Park will do something to better that situation!

Oh, but one thing.... I HATE the restictions of not being a zoom. I'm addicted to zooming otherrwise I feel way too constrained. Same reason I could never work a 'desk-job'. Lonnit needs her freedom! I had to retire at 34! I'd always worked sales jobs so I could be as free as possible while still having a job. How else are you supposed to be able to pop onto th beach when you're supposed to be at work? 'I'm done working today - I'll go home now.' Bosses don't like to hear that! LOL! ~ Lonnit

What a silly question Rod! LOL! I LOVE it! Did I mention I LOVE it? Because I really LOVE it! It does a very nice job with colors. I find the shots much more saturated than with my 28-135. I was sooooooo jealous of Gayle when she got hers. It put it over the top for me and I just had to have it! Problem is that now I am getting incredibly antsy for some L glass! Budget's been flowing with approval recently on purchases (monitor, lights, timer, fisheye,) so maybe I ought to start researching and picking one out! LOL! ~ Lonnit

How do you like the new fisheye lens Lonnit?

I like this one also. Not sure if I would crop some off the left though. I think it would brighten the picture some. theFly

And you 'fink' my eye didn't have a hard time looking at it thru the lens? LOL! That IS how piercing it was! LOL! Ok, yes, you are right. I do like the fix. Just also love (NOT) "lonnit fixed" and "lonnit blown" blaring in your gallery! LOL!!!!!!! Thanks. ~ Lonnit

I really like this image Lonnit, the two angled lines work a treat & some golden glow on the road. A big well done. I found the middle of the sun a minor distraction being too bright or white. I used the eye dropper to get a sample of colour very close the white & filled the middle which pleases me eyes more. Have a look & see wot you fink:-)
