I find it disturbing that the fence and houses are sliding off to the left. Why noy put them right? They would attract less attention that way as well.

LOL! Not unless I took it years before I was born! LOL! (plus, wouldn't it be in B&W? LOL! ~ Lonnit

My family used to go to Alley Pond for cookouts around fifty years ago. About when I looked like this guy, come to think of it. Maybe it is me - is the picture fifty years old? - Walt

PSing the background would be tough b/c I'd still want the fence pretty much as it is, and just what's beyond it to be blurred.

Yes Walt.

There could only be one Alley Pond Walt. Lonnit why not PS gaussian blur the background?

Still, the tilt is nice. Is that Alley Pond Park in Queens? - Walt

You're right Rod. It was shot at f/5.6 so it should have been a much shallower DOF I would think. Perhaps I was standing back a bit too far so it made the field longer? I know it was tough trying to focus on a moving target so close. Maybe I did step back some. ~ Lonnit

I really like the angle & perspective of this one.........BUT......I would prefer the background just beyond the fence to be blurred out to give the shot some meaning. You have a photograph up front & a snapshot as a background......I think:-)
