Because Dory's stood me up in front of "The Group" & accused me of plagiarising Rose's shot I have put another plagiarised, I mean original shot in its place. This one is called, Small leaves framed by big leaves.

btw, i really do like this shot. b&w really brings out the textures of the big leaves vs the small leaves. nice job. really. whether it's your idea or not. :-)

so, sorry rod. i didn't mean any harm. you asked if "plagerize" can be used for photos. i just cut and pasted webster's definition of plagerism.

anyway, i like this shot a lot better.

Disregard as usual Dorys comments below as it applies to the shot I deleted & replaced it with this, my latest work:-)

Main Entry: pla·gia·rize
Pronunciation: 'plA-j&-"rIz also -jE-&-
Function: verb
Inflected Form(s): -rized; -riz·ing
Etymology: plagiary
transitive senses : to steal and pass off (the ideas or words of another) as one's own : use (another's production) without crediting the source

short answer is "yes & no". You copied 'another's production' but you credited the source.. .sort of.

BTW, lovely shot. Nice thought behind the idea and should be a compliment to Rose (?) since her shot made you think of this. dorys
